LAN / KAN / CAN or (Limestone Ammonium Nitrate) is a combination nitrogen trace elements and are vital to plant growth. Nitrogen is essential to plant protein and genes and is also part of the structure of the green pigment that enables plants to capture light energy to make sugars. Adequate nitrogen improves the plants efficiency to use its water but to much nitrogen can reduce flowering and fruit production, and may also reduce the plant’s ability to tolerate drought. Nitrogen makes leaves bigger and greener during the growing season. Nitrogen deficiency is evident by poor plant growth, and leaves become pale green or yellow because they are unable to make sufficient chlorophyll.
